Check out the 2 categories of retaining walls we offer below:
Gravity retaining walls offer simplicity, durability, and cost-effectiveness, making them ideal for many landscape and engineering applications. Their ability to provide structural stability while requiring minimal maintenance or complex design makes them a practical choice, especially for moderate-height applications and environments where aesthetics and cost are important considerations.
- Less excavation behind the wall
- Easy system to adapt to any site or project
- Ability to construct free standing pond walls, screen walls, parapet walls
- Aesthetic Versatility: Choose between a more natural, stone look or a more commercial, cement look
- Reliable option for maintaining safety in areas with challenging slopes or unstable soil
A Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining wall is a type of retaining wall that combines soil with reinforcement materials to create a stable, strong structure that can retain soil, prevent erosion, and withstand the forces acting on the wall. Unlike gravity retaining walls, which rely on their mass for stability, MSE walls use a combination of soil and reinforcing elements (such as geogrid, geotextile, or steel strips) to stabilize the structure.
- Cost-effective: MSE walls are often more cost-effective compared to traditional gravity or cantilevered walls, as they require less material (e.g., concrete) and can be constructed with less labor
- Designed with different facing materials, including concrete panels, modular blocks, or even natural stone
- MSE walls can be designed to accommodate various site conditions, such as uneven terrain or challenging soil types
